Aisle-Entry people counter
Standard security on our powered mobile storage systems, the aisle-entry people counter detects any beam disruption in front of the storage system when a user is entering an aisle. This insures the carriage movement to instantly stop. A reliable solution you can count on!
Infrared foot-level safety beam - one side of mobile carriage
Suitable for industrial applications, the photoelectric beam runs on both sides of each aisle and is mounted low on the carriage side members. These floor-level safeties are provided as standard features with SAFERAK 32P and SAFERAK 60P industrial storage systems.

In-Aisle emergency stops
Readily accessible in-aisle emergency stops can be added as an optional feature, completely independent from the other safety sensors and able to override them at any moment. Whether the users are in or around the system, there is always an emergency stop within reach when needed.

Safeguards for all mechanical moving parts
All mechanical moving components are concealed and protected by a steel safety guard to prevent inadvertent access.
Mechanical ratchet backup override
The mechanical ratchet is designed to move the mobiles during the installation but it can also provide partial accessibility in the event of a power failure when the mobile load is not too high. After machine lockout, insert the ratchet in the designated hole and move each mobile one at a time.
Ladder Security Key switch
The key switch activates and deactivates your system. Ladder security keyswitches are also available. With these securities in motion, the system is locked and no mobile movement is possible until the ladder key is inserted.
Safety Controller Provided On Every Mobile Carriage
The Safety Controller is offered as an optional safety feature on every mobile. There is one safety controller per mobile and one in the power box. Very reliable, it continuously scans every safety and can react in less than one millisecond
Security perimeter
When the system is not surrounded by fixed units or walls, mesh panels fixed to the floor are used to delimit the access zones and make sure no user can enter a system without crossing the Infrared Entry Curtains.
