STURDY AND EFFICIENT
Consisting of high-density mobile storage units mounted on mechanically assisted carriages, the HD 16MA maximizes the efficiency and minimize the costs of your warehouse storage space. Designed for industrial environments, its load capacity is 16,000 lb (7 258 kg) per rack sections which travel on tracks.
As a mechanical-assist mobile system, the HD 16MA smoothly and easily operates with a large and ergonomic SafeCrank handle. By simply pressing the aisle safety push-button at the center of the handle, you can lock the system in position.

HD 16MA Mechanical-Assist Mobile Racking Systems offer several unique features such as:
- 6ft 1/4 carriage height.
- Large 3-spoke SafeCrank handle.
- A single deep racking section capacity of 16,000 lb (7 258 kg).
- Components painted with a resistant electrostatically applied powder coat finish (various colors to select from).
- Dimensions: bay depth (48" or 96"), bay width (3' and 12'), carriage length of 45’.
- Mechanical colum's front drive unit made from 14-gauge galvanized steel covered by a 18-gauge painted steel box.

But what’s in a name? Let’s break it down.
Montel—because, like all other Montel products, the industrial HD 16MA was made with people in mind. The innovative racking allows for adjustability within one inch—no special tools or maintenance appointments are needed.
HD 16—HD stands for “heavy-duty.” Each back-to-back bay of racking can hold up to 16,000 lb (7 257 kg), and each carriage can hold up to 24,000 lb (10 886 kg) and maximum length is 50 feet (15.2 m)
Racking sections are provided either 4 (1.22 m) or 8 (2.44 m) feet wide, and 48” (122 cm) and 96” (244 cm) deep.
MA—short for mechanical-assist. Montel’s patented SafeCrank technology makes it easy to move thousands of pounds with only a single pound of pressure. The push-button locks also keep aisles open and operators safe during use.
