Verdélite
We aim to provide unique strains grown with love and passion, said William Fournier, head grower at Verdélite. That is our mission.
Challenge
Although Verdélite produces six strains for the medical and recreational markets, it has more than 50 strains on hand at its facility in Saint-Eustache, Québec. As head grower, William loves experimenting with and developing new strains for his local community. But with the company’s traditional rolling benches, a lot of space was taken up by the prevegetation process, which limited how much space Verdélite could devote to flowering.
To rival the competition, William and Verdélite sought to maximize their capacity and streamline their workflow. And you can’t do that with traditional rolling benches. In our opinion, the attention that William and his team of 70 bring to work every day deserves a high-density mobile vertical growing system that can fuel their creativity and yield cycle after cycle of unparalleled flower power.
Solution
For its large prevegetation room, Verdélite chose a three-tiered, seven-carriage mechanical-assist GREENRAK mobile vertical growing system. GREENRAK’s fully adjustable ergonomic design made it easy for Verdélite to customize the solution they needed most—one that could save space without slowing them down.
Product description
Verdélite’s GREENRAK installation included everything a professional cannabis grower could ask for: ventilation systems, irrigation systems, remote monitoring capabilities, and 1,250 energy-efficient LED lights, not to mention our patented SafeCrank handles with push-button locks for safety and security.
Benefits
William and his team recognized the benefits of their new system immediately: more room in the aisles, easier authorized access to their plants, and a smaller overall footprint in their prevegetation room. (With traditional rolling benches, they were using four times as much space!).
With Montel’s GREEKRAK mobile vertical growing system, Verdélite successfully optimized its prevegetation room—around 45,000 square feet of canopy—and now maintains 20 flowering rooms capable of handling three cycles at once.
